Bob Marley said that. Just as I wrote that I randomly associated that quote with Nelson Mandela's recent death and saw how that quote applied to him too. Maybe it's a somewhat racist comparison? I'm not struggling under "white man's burden" but life does seem to be a big struggle right now. Megan and I had a big fight on Friday. We're okay; so far (knock on wood) we've been okay after every fight we've had, but eventually these shallow cuts in our relationship will either scab over or bleed out, so we need work. That is in progress, and I hope we get the tools we need before inflicting too many more wounds. The barnpartment renovation progress momentum scale seems glacial, but today we were able to finish attaching the door frame, door, drywall around the door, and door knob as well as painting most of the downstairs floor. It was only four hours work, but seemed like more progress than we've made in the past week. So maybe I should step up the progress scale from glacial to annual. At this rate, we're hoping to be in by the end of the year, but I think January 15th is a more realistic goal given our time commitments and budget. We spent most of the day helping out friends in need. They're in legal trouble, so I can't go into details, but I'm praying all will sort itself out soon. I have faith they're in the right, I hope they can hang on long enough to defend themselves. Friday we leave for a week at Disneyworld. I'm not excited about this trip for many reasons, but I will do my best to put those reasons out of mind and focus on having a good time with my family. Until then, I will continue to dwell on it
